Our Agreement
This agreement is a legal document which sets out your rights and obligations, and those of Pamela Storey Johnson Ltd, in relation to the services offered by us through this site or any of the other linked sites.
Effect of this agreement
Viewing of the site is free; but when you register for the site, you agree to the terms of this agreement, and you re-affirm that agreement every time you use its services; therefore, we recommend you read this agreement so you understand the nature of the commercial relationship.
Applicable law
We are an English company, registered in England, and each sale shall be deemed to be made in England;
English law shall govern each transaction, including (without limitation) all contractual and other relationships, which arise as a result of such sales. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to any disputes arising out of any sale.
Entering into a contract with us
We ask that you agree to register for sales on this site using your correct name, address and any other requested details. You may be asked to enter credit, debit or charge card details. You must ensure that (a) you are fully entitled to use that card at the time when you provide those details and when you use the card, and b) the card has available funds to cover all charges incurred on it in the course of buying from us. If any of the information you enter becomes incorrect or is superseded, then please notify us with the corrected information immediately.
In any event, to register for the services provided by Pamela Storey Johnson Ltd, you must legally be able to enter into contracts for goods and services, which means that you must be at least 18 years old and sane.
Misuse of our site

When will you be charged?
Your credit or debit card will be charged when you order goods on the site and prior to them being sent.
Tax & Duties
We have to charge VAT on all goods and services where applicable. If you want your purchase to be delivered outside the European Union, you will automatically be responsible for paying all applicable duties.
Corrections
The descriptions of goods and services included in the Pamela Storey Johnson Ltd site are accurate to the best of our knowledge. We do our best to correct errors or omissions as soon as we are aware of them. However, you should know that the paper chosen on which images are printed is deemed to be the most consistent with the original artwork and colours and appearance of images, mounts and frames may vary from the way they appear on the screen, depending on the computer equipment used.

In the event that there is any dispute in relation to this issue, it is agreed that until the matter is resolved, an interim injunction will be an appropriate remedy. An Interim injunction is a court order, which would prevent any further use or distribution of the image or images in question, until a final court hearing where the court will make a final judgement.
Loss
We will not be liable to any user of the site or any third party for any indirect or loss or damage, or for any loss of data, profit, revenue, business or management time, howsoever caused.
It is agreed that the liability of Pamela Storey Johnson Ltd under this agreement (whether arising in negligence or otherwise), will not under any circumstances exceed the greater of a) £500 or b) an amount equal to the sums paid or payable.
This does not affect the statutory rights of any person as a consumer.
Consequential Loss
In the event of consequential loss, Pamela Storey Johnson Ltd can only be responsible for the cost of your order.
Negligence
Nothing in this agreement limits Pamela Storey Johnson Ltd’s liability for personal injury or death resulting from our negligence.
Reasonable Control
Pamela Storey Johnson Ltd shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under this agreement if caused by matters beyond our reasonable control, such as a ‘force majeure’ or act of god.
Changes to this Agreement
Pamela Storey Johnson Ltd reserves the right to change the terms of this agreement from time to time, and post a new version on our website. The new version will take effect from the day of posting on the site. Price and availability information are also subject to change without notice.
Severability
In the event that any term of this agreement is held to be unenforceable or invalid by judicial decree or decision, the remainder of this agreement shall remain valid and enforceable.
